About how to get to the congress

SKOURA is located at the base of the High Atlas, 40 kilometers from Ouarzazate in Southern Morocco

GPS COORDINATES : + 31° 3’ 39.11 ‘’ & - 6° 35’ 47.36’’

To get to Skoura, you must first reach Ouarzazate which is 45 minutes by road.

For Ouarzazate, several possibilities :

• By plane, for a direct flight to Ouarzazate, there is at least one daily flight from Casablanca (in the evening), direct flights from Paris Orly (Transavia), Marseille (Raynair), London (Raynair), Barcelona (Raynair).
  
  To Casablanca flights from Austin, Amsterdam, Atlanta, Barcelone, Berlin, Boston, Bruxelles, Chicago, Copenhague, Denver, Francfort, Genève, Houston, Istanbul, Jeddah, Le Caire, Lisbonne, Londres, Los Angeles, Madrid, Milan, Lyon, Montreal, Moscou, New York, Rome, San Francisco, Seattle, Stockholm, Zurich, Washington.
  We will come to the airport of Ouarzazate to meet you and transport you to Skoura directly to your lodging place, it takes about an half hour on a regular road.
  
• By road :
  From Marrakech (several daily direct flights from different cities in Europe), you will cross the Atlas by the pass of Tizi-n-Tichka to 2,260 m. Count less than 4 hours without stopping.
  • By taxi from Marrakech to Skoura, it will cost you about 100 to 130 euros. It will not cost you more than a car rental, is less tiring, You can admire the landscape and have no risk getting caught by radars checking on the roads which are very frequent in Morocco even in the middle of nowhere.
  • By bus, you can also catch a bus from the Marrakech bus station all the way to Skoura. This is the most economical for one or two people travelling.

FOR INDIAN CITIZENS :

• 1.Passport-type photographs: 3
• 2.Visa application form. Visa application form filled out in detail(block letters) and signed by the applicant.
• 3.Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.
• 4.Foreign Exchange or Credit Card copy. Applicant must provide Foreign Exchange or Credit Card copy
• 5.Bank Statement. Copies of bank statements from the past 3 months.
• 6.Employment Letter. A letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
• 7.Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations.
• 8.Personal Letter. A personal letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy of Morocco, explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, cities to be visited, and place of accommodation.

FOR PAKISTANI CITIZENS :

• 1. The Visa application form to be typed (not in writing ) in duplicate ( two copies) and in “ CAPITAL LETTERS”
• 2. Application must be submitted by the applicant / organism in charge,
• 3. Passport must be valid for minimum six month.
• 4. Application should be submitted at least three (03) weeks prior to the date of travel
• 5. Reference letter from present employer / office mentioning your job, duration of service and salary / income. In case of business visa ,please attach your business profile / Documents,
• 6. Personal latest bank statement for 3 months with bank verification letter ,( in case the applicant presents the company’s bank statement, the additional bank letter of confirmation of state of ownership of the said company of the application must also be attached).
• 7. Photo copy of ID Card
• 8. Photo copy of passport ( first four pages & pages of endorsed visas of others countries)
• 9. Two (02) recent colored photographs (1x1 inch). Two photographs of each child will also be reuired if accompanied.
• 10. Confirmed return Air Ticket ( attached with passport) + Hotel booking
• 11.The applicants of transit visa should have the visa of the destination country is the case where on entry visa for the destination country is not required. The application must be supported by an air ticket to the country of destination.
• 12. Chamber of Commerce Membership Certificate & Original Visa Recommendation letter is must.
